Chef Chris Avtges, a contestant on the Food Network show "Chopped" will be our special guest on Opening Day of the market on Saturday, November 5th at 11:00. He will be joining us for a cooking demo and taping of "Cooking In The Merrimack Valley". Chef Chris will be preparing a gluten-free beer braised pork belly that can help you step up your tailgating menu! There will be two preparations: with cheesy grits and collard greens - and as a sandwich with fried egg. He will be using ingredients that are available that day at the Farmers Market.
