Market Vendors For Last Market Of The Season: Feb 20th

This is the LAST market of the season! We have plenty going on, so don't miss it!
We have a fantastic, free seminar at 11:00 by Terry Golson: "Selecting Chicken Breeds". Terry has extensive chicken-keeping experience as well as being the author of Tillie Lays An Egg and The Farmstead Egg Guide And Cookbook. You can check out Terry's chickens here on her webcam. Terry will cover the basics of choosing the right chicken breeds for your needs - family friendly, egg production, personality, etc. to get you started in this fantastic backyard hobby. Terry will be available to answer all your chicken-keeping questions. We will have order forms available for ordering your chickens at the conclusion of the seminar. The chicks are expected to arrive end of April/beginning of May.
National Sharpening Company will be here this week parked in their sharpening van in front of the greenhouse. Bring your scissors, knives and garden tools to be sharpened. Food processor not working so well? Bring in the blade to be sharpened - all while you are shopping at the market.
Our non-profit this week is the Chelmsford Girl Scouts. They will be selling their delicious cookies.
Good news - Jones Farm in Chelmsford (246 Acton Road) will be continuing the market at their farm for the months of March and April. The first market will be on Saturday, March 5th from 10:00-2:00. Many of the vendors below will also be attending the market at Jones Farm.
