We have a great line-up for this Saturday, so if you haven't been to the market yet, make sure to stop by this week! Come shopping for everything you need to make a fantastic healthy meal, or take a night off of cooking and get some great prepared meals like chicken pot pies, quiche, gyros or pork croquettes with bechamel dipping sauce - yum! We'll also have some beautiful handmade jewelry. Our line-up for this week is: 
Jones Farm: squash, kale, mesculin mix, apples, carrots, radishes, cider, honey and cheese. 
The Danish Pastry House: fresh breads, pies and out of this world pastries - they had to cancel last week due to oven problems - but they will be here this week!
Shady Pine Farm: beef, pork & eggs - they will also be taking turkey orders 
Warren Farm & Sugarhouse: maple syrup & maple confections  and jams
Joanna's New World Biscotti: extraordinary biscotti 
Bagel Land: delicious bagels - made with the freshest ingredients
Kabob House: kabobs, gyros, falafel, samosa and baklava 
Got Thyme: chicken pot pies, quiche, turkey meatballs and soups
Samira's Homemade: hummus, ful medammes, baba gannoush, tabouli & pita bread

Opening Day was a big hit with the shoppers. We all appreciate your support of small farms and businesses.  Make sure to visit the market this week - we will have a few new vendors joining us.  Here is a listing of vendors:

We had a great Opening Day! I received some wonderful feedback from the shoppers about our new vendors - and plenty that were thrilled with the returning vendors.  This coming Saturday we will have a few more new vendors joining our market.  The Billerica Cat Care Coalition also had a great day - six kittens & cats are now in the process of being adopted!  Here are a few photos from our Opening Day:

Opening Day - November 3rd

 Opening Day is almost here!  November 3rd will begin the start of our third season of the winter market!  We have some fantastic (and delicious) vendors lined up.  In attendance will be The Benevolent Beaders - this lovely group of women make gorgeous handcrafted jewelry - and they donate 100% of the money to local charities. We will also have the Billerica Cat Care Coalition on the premises.  They will bring some sweet kitties that are available for adoption - they will be in the main store.  In the market, they will be selling beautiful cat beds and various cat merchandise - all handmade. So don't miss our Opening Day - buy some jewelry for a wonderful cause, adopt a cat, and get plenty of good eats!  Here is a listing of our vendors:

The countdown begins! There are only five weeks until the market starts.  We have some favorites returning, and some new vendors that are sure to please everyone.  During the next few weeks we will be profiling some of our vendors, so the shoppers can get a glimpse of what's to come.  We are also planning a Chelmsford Art Appreciation Day (tentatively scheduled for November 17th).  We will have local artists' work on display (and for sale) - details will follow within the next few weeks. Correction: The date for the Art Appreciation Day will be December 15th.
